Cornerstone Community (CSC) – Kelompok Sel
Tempat untuk Keterhubungan Relasional
Gereja bukan hanya bangunan yang dibangun dengan batu, campuran pasir dan air. Firman Tuhan berkata bahwa kita adalah batu kehidupan atau batu hidup yang membangun Gereja (1 Petrus 2:15). Tujuannya bukan menumpuk satu batu, tapi berharap bisa menjadi bangunan yang indah. Setiap potongan batu diletakkan di lapisan berikutnya, dan kemudian lapisan berikutnya dengan sangat hati-hati dan memiliki tujuan utama untuk membangun rumah rohani yang indah dan kuat di mana Tuhan berkenan tinggal di dalamnya.
Ide Cornerstone Community dibangun di atas fakta bahwa setiap makhluk hidup terbuat dari unit terkecil yaitu sel. Ini adalah dasar CSC bahwa kehidupan perjumpaan dengan Tuhan yang terbaik dialami melalui hubungan dan keterhubungan di antara setiap anggota.
Baik CSC terdiri dari orang dewasa, remaja, atau anak-anak, berfokus pada penginjilan. CSC adalah tempat dimana Kasih Kristus harus lebih dialami oleh setiap orang. CSC adalah tempat di mana setiap orang percaya akan menarik satu sama lain dalam tubuh pelayanan yang mengesankan dan berdampak pada orang lain.
Gereja Perjanjian Baru memiliki dua sayap Gereja yang dibangun dari Perayaan and Kelompok Sel (Kis 2: 42–46). Di Gereja Mula-Mula, ada dua jenis pertemuan:
- Dalam Pertemuan Besar (Perayaan) – diadakan di Worship Hall (Bait Suci) untuk memuji dan menyembah Tuhan.
- Dalam Kelompok Kecil (Sel) – bertempat di rumah-rumah agar bisa terhubung, berbagi, makan bersama, berdoa, dll. Oleh karena itu, kelompok sel adalah gagasan Tuhan untuk pertumbuhan dan pengajaran rohani yang baik.
Gereja Cornerstone lahir oleh CSC (kelompok sel). Dengan demikian, semua Cornerstonians didorong untuk bergabung ke CSC. Semua Cornerstone Leaders lahir dari CSC, karena kami percaya bahwa Tuhan memilih Gereja Rumah menjadi salah satu panutan bagi Pertumbuhan Gereja.
Pertemuan CSC harus menjadi pelengkap untuk pertemuan korporasi. Tidak ada cara lain untuk mengubah Pertemuan korporasi. Sebagai pelengkap Gereja Lokal dapat melayani kebutuhan setiap anggota dengan lebih mudah dan lebih cepat dalam kelompok kecil.
Cornerstone Community (CSC) – Cell Group
A Place for Relational Connectedness
Church is not only a building built with stones and the mixture of sands and water. The word of God says that we are the livingstone or the livingstones that builds the Church (1 Peter 2 : 15). The purpose is not stacking one stone on top of the other, but hoping that it could become the beautiful building. Every single piece of stone is put on the next layer, and then the next layer very carefully and has the main purpose to build the beautiful and strong spiritual house where God is pleased to dwell in it.
The idea of Cornerstone Community is built on the fact that every living is made of the smallest unit base which is cell. This is the foundation of CSC that God’s life is best experienced through the relationship and connectedness among every member.
Either CSC is consisted of adults, youths, or children, it is focused on evangelism. CSC is the place where the Love of Christ must be experienced more by every person. This is the place where every believer will withdraw each other within the body of ministry that impress and impacts others.
New Testament Church has two Chuch wings that was built from Celebration and Cell Group (Act 2:42–46). In the Early Church, there are two kinds of meetings :
- In Big Group (Celebration) – held in the Worship Hall (Temple of God) to praise and worship the Lord.
- In the Small Group (Cells) – held in houses in order to be connected, to share, to eat together, to pray, etc. Therefore, cell group is really the idea of God for good spiritual growth and teaching.
Cornerstone Church was born by CSC (cell group). Thus, all the Cornerstonians are encouraged to join into CSC. All the Cornerstone Leaders are born from CSC, because we believe that God choose the Home Church to be one of the role model for Church Growth.
CSC meeting must be the supplement for Corporate meeting. There is no other way to change the Corporate Meeting. As the supplement of Local Church could serve the needs of each member easier and faster in the small group.
